Special Dance Workshop
WHEN: Saturday, July 24, noon to 6pm
WHAT: 2-step Basics, 2-step Patterns, Waltz Patterns, Salsa, West Cost Swing, East Coast Swing, Triple Two-Step, Cha Cha, and Party Dancing.
WHO: 8 Teachers - Barbara Albright, Betty Anderson-Washburn, Grace Forester, Jim LeMay, Karen Miller, Monique Rouleau, Natasha Sawal, Michael Wagner. Participants - All invited, Singles and Couples.
COST: $12.00 plus a dish for the Pot-luck. (Translation: $2/hour!) Soft drinks available, but BYOB if you want. 2-3 workshops to be held each session, so you can pick the ones you want to go to. We will also have plenty of social dance and practice time between the workshops, so come on out and dance with us! Invite your friends.

Ya gotta learn this one. It's got class! It's not at all the same as American Foxtrot. It will be at Barbara's Dance Studio #1. A partner is strongly recommended. You must start from the first class. Freebie International Foxtrot this Month at Metro Dance Club
(updated 07-03-2010) For the rest of the year, I will be teaching 45-minute free lessons on Saturday's at 7:45pm at the Metro dance events each month just before the dance starts. I will be teaching a beginning/intermediate lesson one month followed by a more challenging advanced lesson the following month. I'll be changing dance styles every two months. Freebie Rumba Lesson this Month at Tanglefoot Dance Club

Aww Man...
(updated 07-03-2010) There will be no more Salsa dancing at Gloria's in Colleyville. Now that's a shocker. The place has been packed, but they're calling it quits for some reason. And Scat Club no longer has latin music on Sunday night either. Memorial Day weekend was the last for both locations.
